"They think you're going to fail...not only that Ronnie, they actually hope you do.."

I looked down to let the words soak in so I could feel the full weight of what I just heard.

Then almost for no reason at all I smiled to myself.

I looked up slowly trying to be as dramatic as possible and said "well there in for one hell of a surprise" while popping my eye brows for emphases and topped it all off with a little laugh..

Only I wasn't laughing on the inside.

My stomach felt like it was in knots and I immediately questioned what I had gotten myself into..

That was July 2018

A lot has happened since then, some good, some bad. But, mostly good.

I was only 6 or 7 months into hiring agents for my brokerage and needless to say things were chaotic.

That memory I just described was how I felt most of 2018.

Confident, a bit unsure but determined.

I was upsetting a lot of people and opinions about what I was doing seemed to be a topic of discussion.

Everyone always acts tough when they know people have a negative opinion about them, yet just about 99.756% of us are all human and we do tend to care about others opinions regardless what we say on the outside.

My goal was never to upset anyone. It only seemed to be a consequence for doing what I felt was right.

For what I believed.

What got so many so upset or probably in all honestly just confused, was the way I was building my brokerage.

Admittedly now, I didn't really have a "plan" or "model" I was going off more of a feeling.

A feeling and a vision of what I wanted to provide and how I wanted to provide it.

I didn't worry about how much money the brokerage was going to make, I just focused on what I could deliver to those who became a part of what I was building.

It was tough at times but worth the struggle to get it right.

We've built something pretty amazing and the best part of all we're just getting started..

We have a long road ahead with a clear destination in mind and I'm enjoying the ride along the way.

So much so that I want to share the experience with more people, more agents.

And that's why if youโ€™re interested you can learn a little more about what we're building.

georgegroupcareers.com shares insight to our mission and mindset at The George Group.

You'll also see our commission splits, training and even some testimonial videos from our best agents along with many other things about the brokerage.

And just remember, when you believe in something, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably.
